Best of all, Halloween is just around the dark corner… And I’ve got some
movies listed here guaranteed to give you the heebie-jeebies !!! Or maybe

Daniel…!
I was just sitting here at the pumpkin patch, waiting on the great pumpkin, when I heard the rattling of leaves (or was that the clattering of a keyboard)… and I thought… was that…? was that….? It is! It’s the great pumpkin….! And an eerie moan was heard as a silhouette rose up out of the pumpkins…. but then I fainted…
My companion was really upset…! She had missed, tricks or treats, and candy and cookies, and all sorts of things… as she proclaimed that all that came was a Critic…!
Well, I’m still waiting here for the great pumpkin… but in the meantime, as I wait, this awesome list of Halloween films will sincerely lift my spirits shall we say? Great fun as always (your humor is always the perfect potion).
Happy Halloween 2011…!!!
🙂 “The Great Critic” will always visit the most sincere comments (when he is not reading his favorite
Halloween book, “The Pumpkin Dream: A Cautionary Tale from the Library of Mr. Bumble Bindlegrim”) !
Hey Daniel, thanks for visiting Geek Soul Brother. I love your list of scary flicks here. A real mix of the classic and modern. You even put up The Tingler. You know your horror! I have to check out the ones that I didn’t see. Enjoy your Halloween Brother!
Thank you ! “The Tingler” is indeed a good one. Nothing says Halloween like a Vincent Price film !
“He-e-e-e-e-e-e’s Ba-a-a-a-ack!” I hope your Halloween was a good one and that you got to see some of those spooky movies!!
I did manage to catch many of these phantasmagorical flicks during October. I actually watched “Visiting Hours” on Halloween (great slasher flick from 1982, starring Lee Grant and William Shatner) !!!
Daniel…
Some great films here – I’m looking forward to seeing Paranormal Activity 3 after enjoying the first two.
I was blissfully unaware there was an Amityville 4!
Ha-ha ! “Amityville 4” is cheesy fun ! Patty Duke and Jane Wyatt must battle an evil lamp ! Priceless… (The movie, not the lamp).
